Emmanuela “Venus” Isichei has spent the last five years shaping New York’s cannabis workforce — from her roots in the legacy market to helping establish NYC’s first cannabis workforce and business development program at CUNY, funded through a New York State grant. As a career coach, policy advocate, and connector, Venus has worked alongside leading organizations like Cannabis NYC, Drug Policy Alliance, and the Cannabis Workforce Initiative to drive real, equity-centered change.
Her mission is clear: build accessible career pathways, advance equity, and ensure employers have the compliant, community-rooted talent they need to grow — the right way.
